Dr. Elvira Curiel-Marín holds an international PhD with honors, in Educational Sciences, Research and Diagnosis Methods in Education department from University of Granada. With a background in Pedagogy and Psycopedagogical Intervention, she is currently member of the Research Group “Evaluación de la investigación y de programas educativos andaluces” (Research Evaluation and Andalusian Program Evaluation) at University of Granada.She is specialized in educational scientometrics and research evaluation in Educational Sciences, using dissertations and applying leading techniques of data analysis such as social networks and neural networks in improving the assessment in Social Sciences. She has conducted research stays at the Teaching Social Sciences department at University of Barcelona, and the Center for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University (The Netherlands). She has published in specialized journals and participated in international conferences. She has contributed as a reviewer for indexed journals in major research databases.
