Professor in Higher Education, Abdellatif Miraoui is President of Caddi Ayad University in Marrakech (Morocco) and honorary President of (Francophone University Agency). He is also member of the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research since 2014, and member of he Roumanian Academy of Science.
He holds a PhD in Engineering Science (1992) at Franche-Comté University in France, specialized in energy management and power train optimization. In 1999 he became University Professor (exceptional category).
He has supervised more than 28 PhD thesis and published more than 250 papers in international journals and conferences. He is also co-author of 4 books on fuel cell. He has also developed several research projects as industrial contracts. He held several positions in scientific edition, and is also member of several scientific committees.
He received many Scientific distinctions: Dr Honoris Causa and Honorary Professor in Cluj-Napoca and Brasov University (in Roumania), and the Northwestern Polytechnical University of Xi’an in Japan. He is also an expert at the Ministry of Higher Educaiton in Roumania – “Evaluator of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education” , as well as at AERES (France).
